Association Française du Gaz Naturel pour Véhicules

The FANGV wants to be the organisation that regroups the users.

This is demonstrated by the success made by the public transport and the household waste collection vehicles.

On the 3rd December 1999, under the aegis of the FANGV, a protocol was signed between the Industrial State Secretary for Industry, Mr. Christian Pierret, the presidents of Gas de France, the Renault and the PSA Peugeot Citroën groups and the French Union of Petroleum Industries.The protocol was to confirm their engagement to develop the affiliated branch. The purpose is clear:

• To accentuate the use of NGV in public transport

• To develop the NGV's affiliated branch towards two new markets:
  - Within the next two years, vehicle fleets whether from quoted or
  private companies as well as lightweight vehicles
  - Within the next five years , for personal use.
  
  
  With our Executive Board, the Office, our Subscribers and Vincent Tissot-Favre, General Secretary and the main element of the Association, we would like to create the conditions for NGV to come across as the first choice fuel for everyone.
